WHO IS HAMDİ SEDEFÇİ? He was born in Edirne in 1950. Completing his primary, secondary and high school in Edirne, Sedefçi graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering in Sakarya State Faculty of Architecture and Engineering. Selected for Edirne Mayoralty in the elections of Local Administration in 1989, Sedefçi continued his duty winning the elections second times in 1994.
